Our interdisciplinary team is led by Dr. William Blake Johnson. He has assembled a team of counselors to include licensed clinical social workers and licensed professional counselors, with training in play therapy, creative art therapy and specialize in addressing the unique behavioral and mental health needs of each child and adolescent we serve.

It allows us to connect and support your prescribing physician and other allied health professionals such as asthma and allergy professionals, dental, ophthalmology, radiology, etc. to ensure a seamless continuum of care.


Our method eliminates the need for stressful medical transfers and gives you some sense of control over your healthcare.

Children, Adolescents & Adults/Caregivers ages 5+

The Children’s Clinic of Fredericksburg is a fully integrated medical and behavioral health clinic that specializes in the physical and mental health care of children , adolescents and parents/caregivers.


As a primary and urgent healthcare provider, our philosophy and practice is to intervene as early as possible to identify any medical or behavioral health condition before it becomes a problem.


Sometimes patients come to us, and medical and/or behavioral health conditions are already present. At other times, patients are referred to us that are already in crisis and require hospitalization or a patient may be ready to discharge from a hospital or treatment center.


No matter what your child’s condition, The Children's Clinic of Fredericksburg’s goal is to provide each patient with the medical and behavioral health treatment and supports necessary to maintain themselves in their homes, schools and communities, so that they may live healthy and satisfying lives.

Who Is Eligible
